On the whole, Croatia is undoubtedly the most beautiful country I’ve ever been to. The turquoise calm waters, lush greenery, dramatic landscapes, coastal roads, quaint villages, and the historic city of Dubrovnik, are all you could possibly want from a European summer holiday. If I had the choice, I would move to the country in a heartbeat! I have nothing but fond memories of my 2018 trip.
Some of my highlights are walking around the picturesque Dubrovnik Old Town, swimming in the Adriatic Sea, watching the football World Cup with a Croatian beer in my hand, taking the Dubrovnik cable car up to Mount Srd, visiting the Krka National Park, and road-tripping to Mostar, Bosnia.
You can easily explore the entire country in one trip. Notable areas are Split, Zadar, Zagreb, Dubrovnik, and of course you have 1,200 islands to choose from. I’ve put together a few of my favourite photos from my 2018 trip… I have serious withdrawals after looking back through these. Enjoy!
