15 Best Restaurants in Dubai

Whether you fancy drinking cocktails by the Burj Khalifa or if eating Greek food on the beach is your thing - Dubai has it all. The list of restaurants is endless! I always say that I will go back to the same place but that never happens - every week I end up finding somewhere new.

I’ve narrowed the list down to 15 - damn it, I think I need to stay at home more… Enjoy!

1. Fish Taverna.

My absolute favourite restaurant in Dubai! With a traditional Santorini style entrance and design, it completely transports you to the Greek Isles. Located at the Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort with full views of the Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina. Book in advance to guarantee that exclusive spot on the beach!

2. The Scene @ Pier 7.

Pier 7 has seven floors boasting incredible restaurants on each level. One of my favourites at this popular location is The Scene by Simon Rimmer. It’s a piece of the UK, with traditional Sunday roasts served at the weekends. It also has one of the best views of the Marina!

3. Trattoria Toscana.

Located at the world-famous Souk Madinat Jumeirah. The restaurant is situated right by the water where you’ll see many Abras sailing past. It’s the perfect date night location! Who doesn’t enjoy Italian food with a view?

5. Nammos.

Probably the most expensive restaurant I’ve ever been to, however, the food and service were impeccable! It’s taken from the Greek island of Mykonos and placed on the Jumeriah beach. With the dreamy architecture, design and entertainment, you’re guaranteed the most wonderful experience. Located at the Four Seasons Resort.

6. The Social House.

The ultimate place to see the Dubai Fountain show from your dining table. Located at the entrance of the Dubai Mall underneath the Apple Store. The menu offers a wide variety of many cuisines, however, there is no alcohol served here. The fountains dance every 30 minutes which is an experience you’ll never get tired of!

12. Hell’s Kitchen.

Probably the best meal I’ve ever had in Dubai. Hell’s Kitchen is famously owned by Gordon Ramsey and it certainly won’t disappoint. Located at Caesar’s Palace hotel on Bluewaters Island. They also offer a Friday Brunch - order the mac’n’cheese, ok? It will change your life…

13. Asia Asia.

This is another restaurant at Pier 7, for all you Asian food lovers out there. It’s best enjoyed by getting a big group of friends together and ordering everything off the menu. You’ll thank me later… (drools!) The view is also undeniably amazing!

14. Opa.

Ready to smash some plates just like the Greeks? You start off with a sit-down meal, then you are entertained by the waiters as they dance the Zorba. This is when you are given plates to smash, which is strange at first - but highly amusing. You are then given the chance to join in with the dancing around the whole restaurant. It’s a fun night out! Get ready to say Opa 100 times. Located at the Fairmont at the World Trade Center.

15. Skafos.

Just 15 minutes from Downtown Dubai, you reach the old town of Bur Dubai. Skafos is located in Al Seef which is a new area, however, it takes you back to the country’s original heritage. You can enjoy delicious Greek food overlooking Dubai Creek. It’s the perfect indoor/outdoor setting.
